Description
The check dam is built downstream of the Robinet bridge. Its purpose is to raise the water level by 5 m and divert 1,530 m3/second into the canal.
Located 1,500 meters from the bridge, it comprises five 31.50-meter passes and a sixth 45-meter pass.
The canal begins one kilometer upstream of the retaining dam, with three entrances, each with a guard dam to ensure the safety of the surrounding plain.
