As the village of Bouchet had been spared the various plague epidemics, it would seem that it was in thanksgiving that the inhabitants decided to erect this chapel to honor the Virgin Mary and St. Sebastian.
Description
On October 4, 1972, the chapel was included in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments, and was then completely disused. Unmaintained and having suffered the ravages of time, the building was closed to the public for many years before the commune decided to demolish it (municipal council deliberation of 1971).
In 2005, it was reintegrated into the municipal heritage and used as a venue for cultural events.
