Eglise de style roman provençal

Listed as a historic monument by Prosper Mérimée in 1840, it is flanked by an 11th-century funerary tower, the lower part of which, forming a crypt, housed the tomb of Saint-Restitut.
Worth seeing: the bas-relief frieze with its many subjects.

Description

Saint-Restitut is a 12th-century Romanesque church, a fine example of Provençal Romanesque art inspired by Antiquity, on a par with Notre-Dame Cathedral in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux.
