Description
The Beauvert windmill is the best-preserved and oldest in the Rhône-Alpes region, having been built in 1570, during the Wars of Religion. In addition to its remarkable state of preservation, it has the added interest of having been designed as a fortified tower.
2009: archaeological excavation campaign and listing as a historic monument.
2010, 2011, 2012: Restoration of the Windmill.
