A superb Provencal village where you'll discover animated santons, old trades, a game of pétanque, a shepherd and his sheep...
Description
Aimé and Simone BRUN started their crib in 1983, at their daughter's request. Simone BRUN made the clay santons and painted them, while Aimé BRUN took care of motorizing them.
Year after year, the crib grew in size and occupied different locations before finding its final home on rue Pierre Sémard.
In 2011, this Provencal village became municipal and was restored and enlarged.
In an area of 40m², you'll discover a village of 341 santons, 114 of them animated (the bugadières, the baker, the potter, the wrought-iron worker...) with some of Pierrelatte's historic sites such as the Rocher, the Tour de l'Horloge, the Chapelle des Pénitents...
Come and admire the remarkable work of Mr. and Mrs. BRUN: nothing is forgotten and everything looks real, to the delight of young and old alike...
