At the heart of Drôme provençale, overlooking plains and mountains, the château of Grignan was built on a rocky spur overhanging the village. Bearing witness to Renaissance architecture and French classicism, the building had an eventful past.
Listed as a monument in 1993 and now recognised as ‘Musée de France’, the château of Grignan offers visitors precious tokens of art de vivre at various periods. This enchanting site also acts as a venue for cultural shows all year long.
